Suleyman has a Master of Business Administration and started to explore the idea of opening his own jewellery business. EYE helped him finding a work opportunity in a jewellery shop in London. The host company gave him a small space near the shop window to showcase its products and helped him in his work when needed. He did not have enough stock in the shop so options for supply chain management were discussed. The experience was useful for both sides: HE advised NE to promote the marketing and sales tools available to NE’s jewelry portfolio. Risks and opportunities in the market and the possible effects of Brexit were discussed. HE helped NE to communicate with partners that would be needed to develop the marketing and sales campaign.

This program helped me observe the UK market and collect market data to update my roadmap. I have gained important information about which market, with what products, at what prices and in what way I should enter. I must say in advance that it is difficult, but it is extremely valuable if you can find an entrepreneur who is ready to share sincerely with you all his/her sectoral experiences.
