Presentation of the exchange:
During the exchange program, generally worked on the new game of From the Bench Games, TopStars.
TopStars is a multiplayer card game which you can play with the mobile phones. When I joined the team, the most important parts of TopStars has already finished and it was very close to publish. It is a really important process of game development, game looks already finished, but also, it has lots of missing part. Right now we published the game for soft launch and following metrics. During my Erasmus program, I experienced this process with all details and it was very useful and valuable for me. Also, we talked about how From the Bench Games established, what they did until now, and what is next. It was also very valuable to getting answer to these questions.
Profile of the entrepreneurs:
I am Sercan Aktan, worked with From the Bench Games during 4 months within the scope of EYE program. I
am working on mobile development sector and right now I am developing some games for toddlers. I was
aiming gain some experience
developing games like technical parts, marketing parts, localization, etc
also I wanted to discover how they manage the company. Our target customers are totally different, but I
learned lots of thing about game development.
I’m Santiago Pérez, owner of From The Bench, and we develop sports games for mobile devices. We’re located in Elda (Alicante) and we were looking for an entrepreneur that could help us with the development of a new game and, in doing so, learn about the process of mobile game development.
