Presentation of the exchange
The goals of this exchange are principally related to understand the main differences in terms of approach in Italy, instead of the experiences in a foreign country. To do so, I have searched for HE in Italy that could give me the means to realize my project.
During my permanence at the hosting studio, I approached the professional reality of an Italian physiotherapy studio, taking an active part in different activities.
The host entrepreneur and I have divided the job in 2 main parts: physiotherapy and bureaucracy fields, for both topics I have been assisted in a theoretical and a practical way.
I followed my colleagues with their patients and watched how they take in charge patients, how they apply all techniques, and in the end I had the opportunity to exchange theories about techniques and things about future approaches in the physiotherapy field.
For the bureaucracy part, from one side, I followed my colleagues in the preparation of all documents required by law about patient, national health service, while on the other side, I studied relevant laws and administrative issues to allow me opening a private physiotherapy studio. Finally, I improved my communication and promotion skills (through website, brochures, radio, billboards etc.)

Looking for: the opportunity to compare the techniques I have acquired on job in Belgium, England, France with the Italian ones. In addition, I was interested in studying and learning everything that concerns laws, documentations and all necessary information to have a private studio. In fact, Italian bureaucracy and administrative issues are quite different from other Countries. The EYE exchange would allow me to easily understand the basis to improve my project and create a hotel/welness center integrated with a physiotherapy studio.

Looking for: someone who can apply new techniques into the studio, in order to increase the professional standards and support patients with new techniques. Moreover, to offer to the person the possibility to work utilizing Italian techniques and standards.
