Young Swedish Entrepreneur, Anders Risberg, Risberg R&D, in a business exchange at the micro brewery of Alberto Gómez Trabazos: In Peccatum, in Ourense, Galicia, Spain.
Presentation of the exchange:
The meaning of the exchange for the NE was to learn more about the process in a micro brewery and to learn about craft beer in Galicia.
The meaning of the exchange for the HE was to get information about the market of the sector in Sweden and to explore possibilities for future cooperation.
Profile of the entrepreneurs:
I, Anders Risberg, have been staying for a month at the craft beer brewery In Peccatum in Ourense. My company, Risberg R&D, arranges beer travels/tours for companies. The tours have so far been heading to Yorkshire in Great Britain, Bamberg in Germany, Barcelona in Spain and also to Prague, the Czech Republic. The business idea is that the companies, i.e. the clients, can combine working with visits in breweries and other activities related to beer to learn about beer and the process of brewing.
With the Erasmus exchange I wanted to learn more about running a micro brewery, the brewing of beer, purchasing, marketing and other processes connected to a brewery. I also wanted to learn more about craft beer industry in Galicia and I hoped to get in contact with brewers in the region
I, Alberto Gómez Trabazos, the owner of the craft beer company In Peccatum in Ourense, was looking for a market research and some kind of an export plan for the market in Sweden and a road map for future cooperation.
Quote of the NE
Anders Risberg: ”I have learned a lot about beer brewing, canning of beer, marketing and selling of beer from Alberto and his employees Cyntia and Esteban. I have been involved in the work of a very nice beer festival during my stay in Ourense. Three rock bands, from Spain and the Netherlands, were playing, food was being served as well as beer of course. Alberto has introduced me to brewers in Ourense and in connection with a beer event in Porto I met several brewers as well as home brewers. Thanks to Alberto and my stay in Ourense I know a lot more about what it takes to succeed in the beer brewing business and I have achieved a very interesting network of craft brewers”.
Quote of the HE
Albert Gómez Trabazos: ”I have learned about the market in Sweden and I have also got some interesting connections related to the beer business that my company maybe can develop. Me and the NE are going to keep in touch for upcoming events and possibilities.”
