Presentation of the exchange:
During the last four months, I have been assisting at ZebraBook, a Belgian publishing house specialized in personalized books for children. My main duty with them was to open a new market in Spain for the distribution of their books. The first two months I focused on adapting their products for Spain, by translating the books and the website to Spanish and by doing the language localization of the jokes, stories, conversations, etc.
The next two months I focused on developing the brand in Spain by contacting with influencers and journalist that could advertise the brand. In addition, I contacted with printing companies that could print and distribute the books and finally database sellers, ehops, books shops and any kind of company that could be interested in our products.
My aim was to expand my knowledge both in the publishing sector and also perfecting my marketing and sales skills. Thanks to the kind attention and good advice of the ZebraBook team I achieved it.
