Presentation of the exchange:
My mobility through Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme took place at Fereikos, a successful company which was established by two young women entrepreneurs and deals with production of ready-to-eat snail products as well as providing fresh snails and consultancy for potential snail farmers
In Fereikos my duties consisted of:
- Translating all the written material of the company to Turkish.
- Communication with already existing Turkish partners.
- Obtaining the contact details of possible importers of snail products and ready to eat meals.
- Contacting these possible customers and introducing the company, products and services. Diverting sample demands to the relevant team.
- Collaboration in rebranding, including design process of catalogues, price lists, brochures and flyers with new logo and products.
Profile of the entrepreneurs:
Mr Meriç Kutyar GÜL spent 4 months from 01/11/2015 to 28/02/2016 at FEREIKOS as New Entrepreneur. His sector of activity is translation and interpretation. His expectation from the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program was to broaden his horizon as well as letting him to discover new points of view regarding the working discipline, work ethics and problem solving approaches of the destination country and adopt the relevant ones in his future business.
Ms Panagiota VLACHOU has established her own company named FEREIKOS-HELIX for Snail Farming in full biological cycle as well as import -export of different snail products under Agricultural, forestry, horticultural, aquacultural and apicultural products and services category on IT Tool. Her company’s name is and it is located in Korinth, Greece.
