Testimony of Marta
“I am doing my Erasmus experience care of Man Adv, which is an advertising and marketing company. I work with the creative director and owner of the company Aureliano d’Agazio, his partners and the passionate creative team of Man Adv; Learning a lot about how to run own business, business processes, marketing and advertising and people management. I am also working on the particular projects by myself: research and development project of web marketing strategies and developing the viral marketing campaigns for Man Adv clients. I am sure that after this program I will be much better, prepared to run projects, be a leader and at the top of everything run my own enterprise.
Participating in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program is mainly about working, gaining experience and learning but of course not limited to this. Il is a great opportunity for the personal development, getting to know country’s culture, customs and tradition and at the top of everything meeting other people. I have never learnt ltalian before so it was at the begging hard for me to communlcate with some people who speak mostly ltalian but after some time I accustomed to this language and learnt some that made me feel more comfortable. People here are very kind and friendly that they make this learning experience fun. Il is real pleasure to work for Man Adv. The atmosphere is very focused but also creative with space for everyone’s individuality which makes working day very pleasant. We go for lunch every day or bring something to eat at the office and because the office is located on the hill in the beautiful toscanan villa, we eat and talk outside, taking advantage of the spring weather. We also spent much time after work. Once, we prepared dinner, at my friend’s house cooking together and I learnt ltalian way of preparing risotto.
Another time we went out for the dinner to the Il Latini restaurant. Il was the most expensive dinner I had In ltaly bui it was such a cullural and people event that I couldn’t miss it. Il Latini is the regional Fiorentine cantina were you can eat delicious Tuscan meats. That night we had bistecca fiorentina (deliclous lightly grilled beef). the absolute must try specialty or Florence. We spent there 4 hours discussing polish and ltalian cultural differences. food. wine etc.
I would recommend to any young, passionate person who has already working experience to participate in the program . It helps to get to another level of the career ladder by providing opportunity of learning management skills, shadowing the business owner and learning how to run successful business. Not to mention about many other advantages of staying abroad, learning other country culture, language and last but not least meeting new people. gaining network of friends and business partners for the rest of your life.”
