Elena Galkina from Tallin came to Luleå to do her Erasmus exchange at the GeektownCommunications agency. It is her first time in the Northern Sweden and she is deeply impressed by the landscapes that she so nicely describes as a beautiful winter fairy tale.
Jelena is a trained art director and will start a business in communications and design.
“I’ve learned a lot through my Erasmus exchange that I will have the advantage of when I start my business. Among other things, in terms of structure and resources of a small business, “says Jelena and looks back on her replacement in Luleå with joy.
Veronica Ruthberg from Geektown Communications Bureau is also very pleased with the participation in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.
“What we knew when we took part in the Erasmus program was that we could get to learn from and teach one another creator in a European country. The exchange also gave us much more, we had not expected. A month later, we have learned to know a person from a country and a city we never visited – but we now have a standing invitation to. Jelena stay
gave us an insight not only into how Estonians see the design but also a cultural exchange and we have found out similarities and differences. “
Veronica Ruthberg also tells us that Geektown communications agency since its inception has had a desire to become global and that participation in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is one step of many in that direction.
“Jelena has contact with many Estonian companies we want to work with and Jelena will be a great asset in the projects we will work on going forward,” says Veronica Ruthberg.
