The business idea of the Young Italian Entrepreneur, Luca Bellana, was in a perfect match with the activity carried out by BAG EJSA, Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Evangelische Jugendsozialarbeit, in Stuttgart, Germany.
BAG EJSA, a nationwide association for youth social work, training and education, helped Luca in improving his entrepreneurial skills, thanks to Hans Steimle and his experience.
In the 4 months spent abroad, Luca had the possibility to share his competences and creativity in a project the enterprise was working on.
The project consisted of an English course and gender equality workshop for children, and a seminar about reading aloud to children for parents and professionals like librarians, educators and teachers.
Luca increased his training skills, project planning, writing and management, fundraising, partner research, administrative and financial management, market and business opportunities research.
Observing the HE’s business organisation and behaviour in a professional daily context, Luca felt empowered: he acquired entrepreneurial competences, he also had the opportunity to learn more about the European Policies, best practices and communication, aspects which strengthened his willing to start his own business in the education sector.
