”One of the best experiences in my life”
My ambition to learn how to manage my own consulting business, reached due to my participation in the program “Erasmus for young Entrepreneurs”. As soon as I informed for this program, I applied in the tool with my own business plan and started to search for a Host Entrepreneur.
So I got in touch with Mr. Olejniczak who runs his own business «Deutsche Vermögensberatung» in Hamburg, Germany. After our first conversations, we agreed to fulfil the program in his company and I started getting prepared for the exchange. So at the end of June 2015, I arrived at the airport of Hamburg.
During my 2 month stay, I attended seminars that dealt with consulting and I got in touch with clients in order to give them the most suitable advice for them. With the Host guidance and supervision I was able to suggest different kinds of contracts to the clients, depending on their economic and family situation, as well as other significant factors. Furthermore Mr Olejniczak taught me how to prepare the tax statements of the clients. So the range of knowledge that I had to deal with was a large one.
After I got back in Greece I kept the communication with my HO, especially for a potential future cooperation.
Unfortunately until now I didn’t manage to establish my own business, but I’m thinking to do it to at the beginning of the Year 2017. At first I want to proceed in a detailed and effective market research in order to have the maximum results.
I hope that the program “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneur” will continue to offer its benefits in the next years.
